Thu Sep 18: Thursday A front through the south of Ireland, Wales and England brings cloud and periods of rain and drizzle. Lots of low cloud and fog on western coasts and hills here. Further low cloud affecting southern coasts and hills too. Some brighter spells inland and east, feeling mild and particularly humid in the south. Early in the day, brighter and fresher in the north of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland with sunny spells, though showers north and west. The warm front draws northward, bringing cloud and rain into northern England and southern Scotland. Highs near 24C in eastern England, 18 to 21C for many in central and western areas, 15C in Scotland.
